Batch selection is easy as the operator simply presses one button to cycle through their selected options.

Introduced in March 2005, this model in based on the AF8750 and shares many design features and components, benefiting from the reliability that comes from years of improvement.

The major difference is the addition of a numerical keyboard for selecting any batch quantity required. For the usual batch quantities of 50 and 100 there is a membrane switch to make batch changing faster.

Adding the keyboard made a change in the display layout necessary which has proved popular.

This model was introduced because it has an option that enables it to detect not only the short dimension on a note but also the long, a desirable feature as the large denomination Euro notes have the same short dimension and it would, for example, be possible to count a 100 Euro note as 500!

This feature also introduced the capability of mixed value counting as the value of a note can be assigned by its dimensions. The overall total and a breakdown showing the number of each denomination is displayed. The information can be stored in memory and totals read or printed.

The unit can be programmed for any currency, except those like the USA, where all the notes have the same long and short dimensions.

It also has three speeds available.
