This lightweight, portable and highly accurate device is designed with multiple bank tellers, or shop assistants, in mind.  Cashing-up, at the end of the day, is both speedy and simple to achieve as the unit sequentially steps through all of the domestic coin and bank note denominations automatically.  A running total is displayed.  It can happily capture and store the data from a maximum of 50 tills into non-volatile memory and download it via an RS-232 link.  Domestic Mains or Battery powered for flexibility.

A totally ingenious, mechanical solution to overcome the high-value bank note ‘snatch’ robbery situation from tills and other like locations and, at the same time, improve the overall security of staff members.  Discretely positioned and firmly mounted at the point of sale, in operation, the pre-sealed (using blank or serial numbered, tamper-evident seals) internal Cassette is placed within the Case of the unit before the working day commences. 

During the day, the user regularly processes the ‘till surplus’ high-value bills into the device which, whilst accepting all known currencies, has a capacity to approximately 350 notes.  When the till is not immediately required to service customers, the senior appointed cash office staff member can quickly unlock the unit, exchange the current working Cassette with a new, sealed, empty Cassette and so safely withdraw the sealed unit, containing the pre-stacked cash, to the back office for swift reconciliation.
