During the period from the 6th to the 8th of September, our national distributor SYMCO GROUP PANAMA, exhibited our AF8760C Series Currency Counter at their 10th CLAB exhibition; this show is presented in Panama City under the auspices of the Latin American Federation of Banks Annual Meeting and attracts numerous visitors from the Americas and the Caribbean region.

• The T-51 Series. You may have already noted that, in this web update, the T-51 Series of Currency Counter has been withdrawn from our product range. Principally, this was due to the market preferring the long-established capabilities of our much faster, heavy duty, bank note counting units. (We may introduce a similar model, at some stage in the future, to cater for this small volume user requirement). As a consequence, all T-51 Series technical and spare parts support will cease on the 1st of December, 2016.

• UK Machine Maintenance. We have also established a box-swap based Kobell machine maintenance operation, for a number our highly valued, UK customers - Another economical support service to promote increased productivity within our own domestic banking community.

• The AF8750 and AF8750C Series. With the launch of the new AF8750E Series Currency Counter, on the 23rd of September 2009, as a consequence, all of the earlier AF8750 and the AF8750C Series machines technical and spare parts support will cease on the 23rd of September, 2016.

Please be advised that, with immediate effect, technical support has been withdrawn from the following early products:

• The Kobell MiniCount II Series Currency Counter
• The Kobell 8750 Series Currency Counter (These old units are quickly distinguishable by the dark blue coloured Control Panel Membrane. This is NOT the current AF8750 Series units that are supplied with a purple coloured Control Panel Membrane)
• The Kobell M2 Coin Counter (Distinguishable by the individual plastic Control Panel Keys. This does NOT refer to the newer M2-A and M2-A+ version which both use a Control Panel of the Membrane-type)

In response to user feedback, we can now offer you the ongoing opportunity to upgrade the dual O Ring Drive System to become a single Toothed Belt.  This task is easy to do, using a minimum of common hand tools, and can even be done on-site.  A fully illustrated engineering procedure, including the Kit (Part Number 60C Kit #1) introductory and special offer price, is available.  Please see page 3 of 6 within the downloadable PDF file link below.
